Makeover Shoot with Nicole Hatchett, 4th February 2010
Nicole's day with Perfect Yellow started with a look through the clothes she had brought along with her. My stylist spent some time discussing hair styling options and possible outfits.
" For the first style we started with the most natural look. For this we chose a long striped 3/4 sleeve top over rip-look leggings. The hair was kept minimal with attention to skin tone and freshness. The hair was combed with a little gel and spray to give it that cheeky, tousled look. "

" After that we went for a glamorous evening style. For this the make up was slightly stronger, yet not over the top. The hair was straightened and then put up, back combed and tweaked into an edgy yet beautiful alternative look, which suited Nicole's own character. The dress was a simple small black dress, accessorised with long satin evening gloves and an intricate necklace. "
" For the last look we went a little crazy. Nicole opted for a very extreme look and we came up something which can, I suppose, be called a 'modern mock rococo' style. Her hair was put into rollers for this but not combed out and the sides were curled with a curling wand. We used the most colourful make up on the eyes, matching the false lashes that the Nicole wanted to wear. We used some stick-on crystals on her eyebrows. The rest of her face was deliberately kept pale and the lips were drawn in a geisha-style. For the clothes we chose a quirky dress and shoes. "
